GAP/IMPLEMENTATION OF STP
At GREEN TOBACCO PVT LTD the following Good Agriculture Practices (GAP) are applied in curing to achieve satisfactory results:
Use of Hygrometer.
Humidity control.
Use of curometer & curing chart.
Monitoring & control of temperature & the timing at various times.
Unloading time
Bulking and grading
IPM & USAGE OF AGROCHEMICALS:

Under Sustainable Tobacco Programme (STP), we work to ensure that basic standards in leaf processing operations are in line with our own environmental, occupational health and safety standards.
The Sustainable Tobacco Programme (STP) includes:
Reducing the impact of noise, temperature, humidity, dust and similar on the occupational health and safety of our workforce;
Comprehensive surveys of all risks to employees and clearly defined actions to rectify potential problem areas; Availability of Appropriate equipment, training and medical care to empolyees.
